Tokyo Alley is a non-profit and registered charity organisation. Please note that all existing and available roles are volunteer-based, and therefore unpaid at this time.
TOKYO ALLEY COMMITTEE
The Tokyo Alley Committee is the core team that coordinates and directs the event. All Tokyo Alley Committee members must be at least 18 years old.
Tokyo Alley is currently not open for committee applications. Please follow us on social media to see when Committee applications open. Thank you for your support!
ON THE DAY (OTD)
Experience conventions in a totally unique way, and become a OTD volunteer! All OTD volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
Experience an anime convention from behind the scenes, leave an impact on the community, and make new friends! An OTD Volunteer is only required to help out during the week of the event, with a flexible schedule.
- Be a part of one of Perth’s largest anime conventions
- Get complimentary memorabilia
- Gain experience and work references

Level up your photography experience! An OTD Photographer is only required to perform during the week of the event, but is also expected to be present for most of the day.
- Become listed as an official Tokyo Alley Team member
- Have your business listed as an official media partner
- Gain access to the green room
- Have your work exposed to thousands in the community
- Receive all general volunteer perks

What’s the difference between a Media Pass and an OTD Photographer? Media Pass holders must go through an application process to verify that they an active professional within the media industry. OTD Photographers will go through a casual portfolio application process and receive additional volunteer perks. OTD Photographers agree that all work created at Tokyo Alley events may be used by Tokyo Alley (the organisation) for promotional purposes, with credit. OTD Photographers still retain all original rights to their work.
